After careful observation, you have been selected for HERMANN's QUICK FIX – HUMANISATION WORKSHOP, a refresher course in being human. Your attendance is mandatory. Failure to attend may result in re-evaluation or reclassification.

HERMANN's stated goal is simple: to help you become a fully compliant human being, someone who can move around in this world without attracting unnecessary attention. Since you were in a different form not so long ago, it is understandable that the details of human life still cause certain. complications.

During the workshop, HERMANN will guide you through clear and practical steps to support the final stages of your transformation. The lecture includes diagrams, behavioural instructions and illustrative case studies – all designed to make everyday human interaction a little less overwhelming.

HERMANN looks forward to seeing you and is eager to help.

HERMANN Info:

HERMANN is an emerging collective founded by sound/music designer and composer David Knap, video designer and set designer Charlie Smeets, and director Joelina Spiess. The three met at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. They have regularly collaborated on projects at the intersection of theatre, installation, and performance. They try to create a ‘violent honesty’ in their work: a mixture of emotional directness, ironic distance and black humour. The aim is to create an energetic, collective theatre experience that deeply moves the audience by confronting the absurdity of human existence. They are inspired by Yorgos Lanthimos, Peter Handke and SIGNA, among others.
