A dance performance for children aged between 4 and 10
It tells the story of a Christmas tree’s journey in a playful and imaginative way: from being felled, through being decorated, to its disposal. In doing so, it invites children to reflect on sustainability. Can we treat nature with greater care?
Flowing movement sequences, acrobatic duets and humorous, theatrical choreography depict the ups and downs of a friendship or sibling relationship. Dancers Eva and Greta from the OOPSALA dance collective also encourage the young audience to join in.
The project is funded by the Treptow-Köpenick District Office using funds from the KiA programme of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
