Alfons Zitterbacke – Presented by the Reading Ensemble

Alfons doesn’t have it easy. Even his name is a regular source of ridicule: ‘Shaky Cheeks’! Whilst his father thinks that such a name is actually quite special, Alfons sees things a little differently. After all, the other children are constantly coming up with new ways to tease him. But his name is by no means Alfons’ only problem. He’s a real unlucky chap.

Wherever Alfons turns up, the next mishap usually isn’t far behind. He actually always means well, but things just rarely turn out the way he’d imagined.

Actor Marcus Staiger reads from Gerhard Holtz-Baumert’s cheerful stories, bringing the lovable unlucky lad Alfons Zitterbacke and his adventures – big and small – to life.

A humorous reading to listen to, get caught up in and laugh along with – for children of all ages and anyone who knows Alfons Zitterbacke or would like to discover him for the first time.

The event will take place on the 3rd floor of the library in the events room
