Inspired by the world tours the duo Jatekok undertook alongside the legendary band Rammstein, as well as by their encounter with Monk’s minimalist compositions, Adams and Glass, Adélaïde Panaget and Naïri Badal are pursuing a goal that is very close to their hearts: to bring seemingly contrasting musical worlds into dialogue whilst exploring the concept of musical continuity.

“We want to free ourselves from the band and its universe in order to conceive a concert built entirely on tension – a performative artistic gesture that brings rhythm and repetition to the fore as an idée fixe, and builds a bridge between the powerful, high-energy world of rock and the subtlety and hypnotic repetitions.

Drawing inspiration from Philip Glass’s minimalist opera ‘Einstein on the Beach’, the duo Jatekok – together with David Gauchard (director), Antoine Travert (lighting) and Clément Mirguet (sound) – aims to create a new form of hybrid concert in which music is no longer defined by genres or labels:

“Our intention is to invite the audience to feel this fusion of styles, to let themselves be carried away by the unstoppable flow of sound, and to experience what music can reveal when it becomes an infinite substance: a continuum of emotions and vibrations, a sonic trance. The transitions between the world of Rammstein and that of minimalist music will be seamless, immersing the audience in a timeless sensory experience in which all familiar points of reference dissolve.”

Between the raw energy of rock and the purity of minimalist motifs.

On their 2027 EU/UK tour, the duo will also perform a show in Berlin:

18 May 2027 Berlin – Kesselhaus
