The USA as a World Power: The Economy, the Law and the Advancement of American Interests
In the fourth EINSTEIN LECTURE, on the eve of the mid-term elections in the United States, Professor Cornelia Woll draws a parallel between her book *Corporate Crime and Punishment: The Politics of Negotiated Justice in Global Markets* and Donald Trump’s presidency in the US.
Afterwards, the Professor of International Political Economy and former President of the Hertie School will discuss with the Managing Director of the Einstein Foundation Berlin, Dr Thorsten Wilhelmy, how economic interests and political decisions shape the international legal order.
You are warmly invited to join the discussion!
