When some of the best sailors compete on the water, the Wannsee becomes the stage for thrilling top-class sport: from 6 to 8 November 2026, the Capital Sailing Cup will take place at the Seglerhaus am Wannsee sailing club (VSaW).

Visitors can look forward to a weekend full of sailing action, special encounters and a maritime atmosphere.
Experience sailing up close: the races offer the chance to watch the sailors live on the water and experience the thrill of regatta racing first-hand.
There’s plenty to discover on land too: various stalls invite you to have a browse, including sailing-related products from Marinepool. Refreshments are also available – with food and the chance to enjoy the event in a relaxed atmosphere.
An event for the whole family: even the youngest guests will find something to enjoy. A dedicated Kids’ Area offers space for fun and entertainment, whilst the adults experience the sporting action and the colourful hustle and bustle on land.
The programme kicks off on Friday 6 November with training sessions from 10.00 to 16.00. From 14.00 to 16.00, the partner regatta will also take place in collaboration with the Potsdam Yacht Club.
The Capital Sailing Cup combines top-class sailing with an experience for the whole family – on the water, on the shore and right in the heart of Berlin.
