*When I Came into Being* is a wordless performance set in a world of miniature furniture, doll-sized objects and toy-like architecture. In this space, an adult performer attempts to make herself smaller – not physically, but through gestures, posture and movement.

What happens when a person tries to return to the realm of a child’s perception? The miniature environment becomes an archive of memory, whilst the body seeks its place amidst a sense of familiarity, strangeness and the sincere desire to be small once more.
