On Saturday, 21 November 2026, the NochMall – the second-hand department store run by Berliner Stadtreinigung in Reinickendorf – will be transformed into a huge workshop and a platform for ideas against waste, from 11 am to 6 pm.

Future Festival 2026
On the repair trail, you’ll learn key repair techniques, and in the Repair Café, you’ll fix your broken gadgets alongside experts – so do bring something along!
Together with the costume collective, you’ll creatively upcycle your favourite clothes, and at other upcycling stations, used materials will be turned into drinking glasses, accessories, Advent decorations and cosmetics.
At ‘DIY Music’, families can build their own instruments together, and at the Zero Waste Kids Supermarket, packaging-free shopping becomes child’s play. Take part in food workshops to learn how to turn leftovers into something new and delicious. Sip your way through low-waste drinks at the Smoothie Bike, the Water Bar or the Bacteria Bar. Or get ready for the festive season with original gifts from the NochMall.
