Grand Show . Grand Emotions .

Oh, what it would be like to wake up in a world of happiness. When Luci opens her eyes, she is enveloped by her most beautiful, unlived dreams. The splendour of this dream world is breathtaking; her old life is now nothing more than a distant echo. Every breath she takes is like a brushstroke; every room that opens up is a symphony of unimagined possibilities. And before her — the man of her dreams.

A new beginning, her imagination whispers. Dreams shatter, reason says. The man of her dreams senses that Luci, dazzled by so much happiness, cannot quite bring herself to trust it. Yet he knows that they only stand a chance if they allow their two worlds to merge. With everything he has, he fights for the love of his life. Luci faces the big question that we all face at some point: do we remain realistic, or do we have the courage to live out our dreams?

BLINDED by DELIGHT is a reminder of happiness that overwhelms all the senses. Who knows – perhaps every change begins with a dream that wants to be held onto and not let slip away.

In cooperation with the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg.

What’s it about?

A harmless school trip to the magnificent Charlottenburg Palace turns into an unexpected adventure for Amira, Johanna and Hamza. When they accidentally awaken the grumpy ghost Wendelin Graf von Wurm in the mausoleum, their whole class is thrown into chaos. The old ghost stirs up strife and discord – suddenly, differences seem more important than friendship.
Fortunately, the three of them manage to awaken Queen Luise as well, who once lived in the palace and was famous for her warmth. Together, they hatch a plan to put the old ghost back in his place. With heart, humour and courage, they show that it’s not what divides us that counts – but what unites us.
Will they succeed in breaking the evil ghost’s power and, together with Queen Luise, celebrate her 250th birthday in the castle in style?

SPOOKY Charlottenburg is a spooky and witty young people’s show with a clear message: open-mindedness, friendship and solidarity can overcome any haunting – no matter how old or evil it is.

The new production is being created in collaboration with the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg. Over 100 young talents aged between 6 and 17 take part in every performance.

The ensemble is the largest of its kind in Europe. Around 240 children and young people from over 20 countries make the Young Shows at the Palast a unique experience for children and adults alike.

Special group rates are available for school classes and nursery groups.
